About the Authors…
Helena Lopez is a San Diego local, born in Honolulu, Hawaii and raised in Tijuana, Mexico. She received her bachelor’s degree in Theater Arts from UC San Diego in 2019. It was in theater where she found an outlet for self-expression and developed admiration for the creative process of storytelling. Lover of the arts, a matcha latte and a California sunset, she is ready to get back on track and start creating art again.
Peggy Harmon-Jones dabbles in both Arts and Sciences. She is a writer, dancer and actor. She earned a PhD from UCLA, where she investigated cockroach hormones. Currently, Peggy guides a team of writers who storyboard animated and narrated presentations that teach about diseases, therapies and medical science. She enjoys all the creative aspects of sharing less heady topics from writing, prop making, set dressing to voiceover.
