He holds a BA in Theatre/Acting and an MFA in Creative Writing/Screenwriting and has worked on the stage and in the television and film industry as an actor and artistic director. Freelance work includes copy editing\, proofreading\, and manuscript critiques for the Los Angeles Theatre Center\, Bifrost Pictures\, and a motley crew of screenwriters\, playwrights\, authors\, and dreamers.\n_______________________________________________________________________\n2. “Natalina Woods: The Sundowning Gypsy” by Suzka\nA Sundowning Gypsy visits Violet in the later part of the night carrying bags of trinkets\, stories and game changing spells.\n\nABOUT THE AUTHOR: Suzka is a painter\, writer\, storyteller and author who looks at life different than most. Her works are irreverent\, imaginative\, delightfully manic and always brimming with color. Born in Chicago\, Suzka studied at the Chicago Academy of Art and received a degree from Northern Illinois University: active in theater\, directing and producing\, a performer of Mime and a student of ‘improv’ from Chicago’s Second City Company. Suzka is best known as Monterey’s Jazz Festival’s set design creator and painter for 25 years\, Gaslamp’s Comic-Con Painter\, author of Wonders In Dementialand and producer/creator of the Dementialand Podcast.\n_______________________________________________________________________\n3. “A Sense of Entitlement” by Grant Gelvin\nAn old man is recruited as an artist’s model\, but the painter’s intentions extend beyond the canvas. The long dead past and the cutting edge of art collide.\n\nABOUT THE AUTHOR: Grant Gelvin has been an actor\, director\, and theatrical artistic manager. He has written/directed/produced short films and is currently trying to convince some gullible filmmaker to make them for him.

Tiger\nA soldier has a visit with a prostitute in Saigon – but with an unusual reason for being there.\n\n2 – “The Gift of the Magic” by Janet S. Tiger\nOh\, come on\, everyone knows the plot to this one – the guy sacrifices his favorite possession for the girl and she does the same for him\, and it’s another great Christmas story!\n\nABOUT THE AUTHOR: Janet S. Tiger’s work has been performed internationally and published in anthologies in the U.S.\, Canada\, and the U.K. Tiger was the recipient of a 2016-17 San Diego Foundation Creative Catalyst Program Fellowship\, an NEA-COMBO Fellowship and numerous awards. She has taught workshops for Playwrights Project and from 2006-2008 she was Playwright-in-Residence at Swedenborg Hall.\nLocally\, Tiger’s work has appeared at THAT24HRTHING! (5 years)\, the CJC 5-minute Play Festival (4 years)\, Scripps Ranch\, the Lyceum Theater\, Lamplighters Theatre in La Mesa and an upcoming Zoom in Ocean Hills. Her full-length\, The Third Party\, was a San Diego Drama Critics Circle Nominee for Best New Play.\nHer first play was performed at The Scripteasers (DJ Sullivan’s house) in 1980 — and she is honored to be a 41 year member of this amazing group.
