DESCRIPTION:An Evening of Two One-Acts \nHEIGHTS\, by Belle DuCharmeFour people are stranded together at the top of a broken Ferris Wheel.  Emotions begin to run high as they open up their feelings about facing fears and taking risks to experience the roller coaster of life. \nCOFFEE WITH HANK\, by Susan HammonsClaire decides to take literally the Buddhist strategy of having tea with her inner demon. But Hank prefers coffee… and has plans of his own. \nAbout the Authors… \nBelle DuCharme is a freelance writer and ghostwriter for the dental industry and was a professional speaker and consultant for decades.  Her passion for live theatre has been a source of joy since childhood. She has been an actor and dancer on stages in Hawaii and California. She has appeared on stage in shows at Riverside Community Playhouse\, Scripps Ranch Theatre\, and the Mission Playhouse. Crafting short plays has become a new obsession and her dream is to continue to improve her skills and work with fellow minded artists. \nSusan Hammons is new to playwriting\, but she’s been preparing for the task for years. Her love of the written word has fueled a lifelong love of performing. As a professional actor/singer\, Susan has worked at La Jolla Playhouse\, Cygnet\, North Coast Rep\, Lamb’s Players\, Diversionary and Ion theatre\, among others. She has an occasional directing habit. Susan has an M.F.A. in Musical Theatre from SDSU.
