He has performed in video games\, animation\, industrials\, commercials\, plays\, films and\, lately\, audiobooks. He’s studied Shakespearean theatre\, performed improv\, and written and performed sketch comedy. This is his first attempt at writing a play – having been inspired by a prompt. Has he succeeded? You be the judge! \nMike Stewart is semi-retired and is studying art and writing. HenryIsn’t it crazy when you run into an old friend at the market? And\, isn’t it crazy how many luxuries and opportunities are available in that market? And\, come to think of it\, isn’t it crazy with the amount of civil liberties we take for granted in this country? Or maybe it’s just you. Either way\, it’s probably time to burn it all down. \nAbout the Authors… \nLaura Gracie took her first acting class in 2015 and got her first role the following year at the Coronado Playhouse production of “Hamlet.” More recently she has been seen as Alcandre in “The Illusion” (Mesa College Theater Company) and as Mari Ramirez in “Transported” (PowPac)\, for which she won the Lead Role PowPac 2021-2022 Season Award. She also took part in the Scripteasers 75th Anniversary celebration. Laura has taken playwriting courses at Mesa College. She is a scientist working in drug discovery for cancer and fibrosis. \nRoger Henry started writing screenplays and stageplays in 2021. His dramedy A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE AFTERLIFE won first prize in the San Diego Stripteasers’ 2022 competition. Since then\, he has had plays produced from San Diego to New York.
