  • PSYCHOPOMP & CIRCUMSTANCE, by Greg McAffee

    After a bad day that ends with getting hit by a car, Sam returns home only to be greeted by Death—laid-back, hoodie-wearing and unexpectedly human. What follows is a darkly comic, poignant conversation about unfinished dreams, parental baggage and accepting the inevitable, as Sam comes to terms with their own mortality.

  • INHERITANCE, by Jean Seager

    After their mother dies, two brothers meet at her house and continue their past discord as they try to find her will. A high school student comes to the door and reveals the mother’s intentions for her estate.

    • Greg McAfee
      ‘s stage works include Shifting Paradigms, Collateral Truth, Bite-Sized Confessions, TheReunion, Indiscretion, The Carousel and Plunder. Greg’s works have been produced by Write OutLoud’s TwainFest, Amigos del REP’s Historias Tenebrosas, and The MENding Monologues, whichearned Best Testimonial at the 2014 San Diego Fringe Festival.

    • Jean Seager has been writing plays for the past seven years. Her plays have won multiple awards at Scripteasers, New York’s Playground Experiment and the San Diego Jewish short play festival. One of her plays was recently produced at Lamplighters Community Theater in La Mesa. Her short story collection, Almost There, will be published in the Spring of 2026.
