    What’s going on backstage?  Mandy and Kit stumble into a mystery that has its roots in Mandy’s past, and Mandy really dislikes a mystery.

  • THE LIGHTBOX, by Celeste Smith

    After a fumbled ballet recital, Margot Atwood gets a visit from her older sister, Celine, who is asking for her help once again before being discovered by their domineering father.  It’s up to Margot to decide whether to reveal Celine’s true intentions or stay loyal to her sister.

    About the Authors...

    • Max Kennel
      is a San Diego-based writer.  His play, The Story of Jimmy Kaplingus, has received awards from the Kennedy Center and Cal Poly Arts.  Currently, he’s trying to write a book about a workaholic superhero and earn a multiple-subject teaching credential.

    • Katharine Rex is a screenwriter, playwright, improviser, improv coach and actor.  She has been making up and telling stories forever.  Some of them are even true.

    • Celeste Smith is a playwright from Phoenix, AZ with a deep love of writing, music and theatre. She adores her two cats, Ender and Poptart, and loves to listen to Taylor Swift in her free time.
