A Night of Three One-Acts
by Tom Steward

THE AUDITION
A Play of a Reading

When aspiring actor Ben auditions for local theatre director Jared, his reputation as a Jewish actor precedes him. There’s only one problem; he’s not Jewish!

THE REHEARSAL
A Play before a Play

Adam and Eve meets All About Eve as an understudy threatens to ruin everything for two actors rehearsing a romantic scene in an upcoming play.

THE TALKBACK
A Post-Play

When plays end, talkbacks start. The only attendee is Kent, an enigma. It’s up to two audience members and moderator Brian to crack the code.
