2. “Natalina Woods: The Sundowning Gypsy” by Suzka
A Sundowning Gypsy visits Violet in the later part of the night carrying bags of trinkets, stories and game changing spells.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Suzka is a painter, writer, storyteller and author who looks at life different than most. Her works are irreverent, imaginative, delightfully manic and always brimming with color. Born in Chicago, Suzka studied at the Chicago Academy of Art and received a degree from Northern Illinois University: active in theater, directing and producing, a performer of Mime and a student of ‘improv’ from Chicago’s Second City Company. Suzka is best known as Monterey’s Jazz Festival’s set design creator and painter for 25 years, Gaslamp’s Comic-Con Painter, author of Wonders In Dementialand and producer/creator of the Dementialand Podcast.

An old man is recruited as an artist’s model, but the painter’s intentions extend beyond the canvas. The long dead past and the cutting edge of art collide.
