Erin McDougall was a teacher for over twenty-five years. She taught everyone from babies to adults, in subjects from how to eat to English Literature. A lifelong arts fan, she now volunteers for theaters around S.D., Jazz 88.3, takes pictures and writes plays. She has taken some wonderful workshops with some great playwrights, which has been a great honor.

Anita Yellin Simons combines history and activism in her award-winning plays: GOODBYE MEMORIES, Anne Frank family before hiding, produced by La Jolla JCC; and HEARTLAND (co-written with Lojo Simon), German-Americans interned in U.S. camps during WWII, produced by MiraCosta College Theater, both published by YouthPLAYS.  THIS WE’LL DEFEND, produced by American History Theatre, San Diego; SILENCE IS NOT GOLDEN, production in Sedona, Sept. 2025; and A GENTILE MENSCH, production in Hollywood, Oct. 2025.
