Lisa Balderston earned a B.A. in English from San Diego State University and a M.A. in Creative Writing and Literature from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She is a professor at Point Loma Nazarene University. Productions include Transported, Life by Numbers, and T.M.I. She is a board member with the Playwrights Project and volunteers with the Playhouse Leadership Council at the La Jolla Playhouse.
