A married couple retreats to a secluded cottage for a long weekend, hoping to find peace and strengthen their bond despite the wife’s struggle with bipolar disorder. As they seek solutions, her unpredictable mood swings challenge their efforts, revealing the strain of living with mental illness.

 

Lisa Balderston earned a B.A. in English from San Diego State University and M.A. in Creative Writing and Literature from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She is a professor at Point Loma Nazarene University.  Productions include Transported, Life by Numbers, and T.M.I. She is a Board Member with the Playwrights Project and volunteers with the Playhouse Leadership Council at the La Jolla Playhouse
