    About the Authors...

    • James A. Goins
      is an inventive composer, director and playwright with over 35 years of experience. A multi-disciplinary artist, he has directed numerous theatrical works and composed for film and stage, having written both musicals and plays. He is also the Executive Director of the Laity Institute of the Arts and founder of PillarPoint Group LLC.

    • Cresencio Medina is a Los Angeles Film School graduate, screenwriter and storyteller from Southern California. His work explores love, grief, hope, family and the strength to keep moving forward. His stories often blend emotional human drama with imaginative concepts, creating heartfelt journeys about healing, second chances and connection.

    • Austin Steinmetz is a writer who blends sharp comedy with emotional surprise. He’s excited for a summer of productions, with works appearing in the 2026 Juicebox International One Act Competition at Lake Shore Center for the Arts, Theatre Workshop of Owensboro, and the Summer Playwrights Festival at The Road Theatre Company. He’s grateful to the Scripteasers community for bringing writers and actors together to support and strengthen new work.
