STRANGERS IN THE NIGHT, by Richard Fouts Two strangers, realizing they’ll never see each other again, feel free to share their intimate pasts.
THE DOOR TO THE WORLD, by Peter Mitsopoulos Fiona Bonner wants to pawn her grandfather’s watch so she can pay for some plastic surgery. But the watch is in a safe deposit box, the key to which can’t be found. And Fiona’s mother, Nadine, doesn’t care because she’s planning to hike the Appalachian Trail.

Richard Fouts’s work has been produced in San Francisco, New York, Washington, D.C. and San Diego. His first play about the Vietnam Draft, premiered in 2017 to sold-out audiences at Z-Space, San Francisco. His other works, “Leaving Lebanon”, “When the Moon is in the Second House”, and “Fast Moving Consume Goods” have been recognized by The Scripteasers. His play, “Summer Me, Winter Me”, which got its start at The Scripteasers was recently produced in Washington, D.C. and Carmel, CA.
Peter Mitsopoulos was born in San Diego and still lives there. He has had a few one-acts produced in his local area. In February of 2024 one of his short plays was staged in New York. He was a 2023 finalist for a Dramatists Guild Foundation Grant.
