A Night of Two Short One-Acts
THE PERFECT ROOM, by Belle DuCharme Violet and Darla are unwitting roommates in a three-bedroom condominium. Barely able to pay the high rent, they try to have control over who lives with them in the third room, the “perfect room”. Their fear at the edge of homelessness creates a spider web of deceit and drama.

About the Authors…
Belle DuCharme is a freelance writer and a Dental Business Consultant by trade. Her roots run deep within theatre, and she has been an actor and dancer since grade school. Over the years since college, career, and building a family, she appeared as an actor in productions at Riverside Community Playhouse, Scripps Ranch Theatre, and the Mission Playhouse with director Edythe Pirazzini in the late 1980s.
Michael Conley’s plays have been presented in San Diego, New York and Philadelphia. Plays at Scripteasers include READING LIPS (readinglips.com), FIVE ENDINGS, RUDOLF BING AT TWILIGHT, SPEED DATING and the MEN ABOUT TOWN collection of four two-character short plays. He has an MFA in Screenwriting from Columbia University.
